Re: Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration

Let me know how the suspension lift goes. I acquired a 2007 Crown Vic Police Interceptor, and was going to do the same thing, but the lack of a garage, feet of snow, and welding skills has made the lift the bottom of our list.

Re: Who's Who of the Sierra

Allright, may as well get it out of the way. I'm tahoegamblin, but most people call me Aidan. I'm in Tahoe City, so I've got a decent grasp of the surrounding area. I can swing a wrench and turn a hammer with the best of them, which is to say I'm a pretty crap mechanic. I plan on making up for my la...

Android Navigation Software Suggestions?

Hey all,
I have a glut of Android tablets (they're breeding in the drawer, I think), so they're the natural choice for our navigation setup (along with an older Garmin handheld and good old paper maps). So I'm wondering if anyone here has a good Android setup that they'd like to share.

Thanks!

Re: Guidelines/Resources/General Info

Yeah, sorry to go off topic. I think the outlined rules are good overall, and I agree a fire extinguisher should be a mandatory item. (and I see the edit added it)

I'm a weather nerd and a radio geek, we will get along fine.

NorCal - Lets light it up!

So I'm in the off position of being dead center of two Gambler races. So, NorCal, what are you thinking as far as region? Coastal NorCal? Northern Sierras? State of Jefferson?
