My employer gets all sensitive about me posting official vehicle pics on the Googlenet.

Also, I'm not in the CIA.

Re: Self-recovery

I've got up the expedition portal for people to run chase vehicles. Right now, we have 3 interested, but no one is committed. That's good. They clearly have enough sense to not be sure they want to be involved with us. So they are smart.

Re: Pre-Gambler500SoCal Meetup

I have 13 minutes that aren't filled the first weekend of November!

I ain't driving all the way back down to Pizza Port though. Although if I called and ordered before I left, the food might be ready by the time I get there.

Re: Android Navigation Software Suggestions?

"What GPS does your receiver run? Can you download GPS maps onto your receiver if you want detailed off road maps of an area?" It's a system rather than a purchased all-in-one unit. The Dual is the GPS signal receiver puck/antenna. That connects to my Samsung Galaxy tablet via Bluetooth. T...

Self-recovery

I know there is probably more than a couple of Gamblers that aren't accustom to rockin' out in the dirt. Because we are all in this together and I don't want to see anyone's fun crapped on by the cruel hand of the sand gods, this is going up. All this is at your discretion. Don't don't do anything i...

Locus works really nicely. You can download tracks and waypoints from other programs as well as a variety of maps. USGS Topo maps are my map of choice. I'm running my with a Dual Bluetooth GPS receiver and, so far, is super nifty.
